Courtney Gibbs, DVM

Dr. Courtney Gibbs pursued her dream of working with companion animals by graduating from the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She began her career in Lawrence, KS and has practiced for the past 8 years in La Grange Park, IL, a western suburb of Chicago.

Dr. Gibbs is happy to be back in Jayhawk territory and close to family again. She is committed to forming strong health care partnerships with clients and enhancing patient quality of life through individualized treatment plans.  She especially loves geriatric medicine, feisty cats, and helping stray/rescued animals.

She shares her passion for pets with her husband, Joe, who is also a veterinarian. They have two adopted children (Olivia and Camden) that bring joy and spontaneity to every day.   Their animal family includes 2 guinea pigs, 3 Miniature Australian Shepherds, and 2 boisterous cats. In her free time, Dr. Gibbs enjoys camping, hiking, and reading a good book with a cat curled up in her lap.
